For all those who wish all our stories, both fictional as well as nonfictional, had happy endings that would take your heart away, here is an alternate ending to my story written by Bhavesh. I loved it Bhavesh. Thank you so much. Here it is:
He came to her with something in his hand. Her heart skipped a beat. “What’s this?”, she asked excitedly. “A surprise”, he said with a big smile on his face, “and make sure you come”, he continued. He handed her the card and left. She didn’t look at it because she was busy watching him go. Two full minutes later, she looked up at the card. There was a bright red heart at the corner and her name written on it. And with a heart beating faster than the Mumbai trains, and fingers shaking faster than those tracks, she opened the card, only to find a marriage invitation with Amit and her name written on it.. and it had a small note in there... So what did you think Miss... I was just boring and not sensitive enough to see all that ocean of love in your eyes all these times... and if there is anything stopping you from coming to me to express your feelings, here's my boring way of conveying you... that I reciprocate the feelings...and let's give this story an ending that most lovers would want!!!
